Final conference in Austria

Vienna, 17 October 2024

On 17 October 2024, a Multiplier Event took place in Vienna, Austria, within the Erasmus+ project NGOE – Next Generation of Entrepreneurs, hosted by ÖJAB.
The event „Zukunft durch Bildung: Erasmus+, Entrepreneurship und Lebenslanges Lernen“ was jointly organised by ÖJAB, dieBerater, ipcenter.at, VHS, ibis acam, Bit Schulungscenter,, and was registered as part of the 8th annual #ErasmusDays.
Mr Laszlo Kovacs from ipcenter delivered a compelling keynote on entrepreneurship, emphasising the importance of innovation and entrepreneurial thinking as drivers of the future. This was followed by an interactive discussion round where participants explored current trends and challenges in lifelong learning and labour market needs, sparking meaningful dialogue on how to make educational programmes accessible and relevant across various age groups.
Through a World Café format, participants engaged deeply with the core themes of Entrepreneurship and Lifelong Learning (LLL), sharing ideas and strategies to enhance these areas.
The event also included a focused presentation on the project NGOE – Next Generation of Entrepreneurs, showcasing its significant outcomes.
Attendees received a concise overview of the project’s results, including each result's content and objectives, emphasising NGOE's contribution to fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among young people:
• PR1 - Entrepreneurial Skills Framework: Identified key skills for fostering youth entrepreneurship globally.
• PR2 - Entrepreneurial Curricula: Developed a curriculum with effective teaching methods to instill an entrepreneurial mindset.
• PR3 - Skills Evaluation Model: Created tools to assess and track entrepreneurial skill development in youth.
• PR4 - Online Toolkit for Students: An interactive Moodle-based resource for youth to learn and engage in entrepreneurship.
• PR5 - Youth Worker Implementation Guide: A guide for organizations to implement the NGOE program effectively in non-formal settings.
A special focus was placed on the PR4 - Online Toolkit for Students, as it serves as an interactive tool that allows participants to directly learn about entrepreneurship in an unconventional and effective way.
64 EU project managers, experts, trainers, teachers, and external visitors attended the event, which promoted European exchange and collaboration in vocational education.
ÖJAB will claim 29 participants, as outlined in the documentation.
