On December 10, 2024, Nooruse Maja had the pleasure of hosting students from the University of Tartu Pärnu College, who are currently enrolled in the Business Administration program. This visit was part of their curriculum, as their lecturer believes in the importance of combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience. When their studies reach topics related to project management and implementation, the lecturer ensures they have the opportunity to witness real-life applications by bringing them to organizations like ours. This hands-on approach helps bridge the gap between academic theory and the realities of project execution.

During their visit, Uudo Laane, a key figure in our organization, gave an in-depth presentation about the local and international projects we are involved in. He provided insights into the challenges, achievements, and lessons learned from managing these projects, emphasizing their impact on the community. The discussion highlighted two significant Erasmus projects: Next Generation of Entrepreneurs and Financially Empowered Women. Both projects focus on addressing critical issues in today's society and have led to the development of valuable educational resources.

The Next Generation of Entrepreneurs project aimed to equip young people with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in entrepreneurial endeavors, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and business planning. Meanwhile, the Financially Empowered Women project was designed to support women in gaining financial independence and confidence, offering tools and strategies to enhance their financial literacy and economic participation.

Both projects have culminated in the creation of comprehensive learning materials, which are freely accessible online, including versions in Estonian. These resources include practical exercises, real-world case studies, and reflective questions that enable users to deepen their understanding and apply what they have learned.

Following the presentation, I shared links to these learning materials with the students via their lecturer. The students displayed a remarkable level of curiosity and enthusiasm during the session, asking thoughtful questions about the projects and their broader implications. Their engagement made it clear that many of them are eager to explore the learning materials further. I am confident that these resources will not only enhance their academic understanding but also inspire them to consider innovative approaches in their own future projects.

Moreover, the visit provided a valuable platform for the students to see how theoretical concepts they learn in the classroom translate into tangible outcomes within a community setting. This exposure to real-world projects and the opportunity to engage with those directly involved in their implementation is an experience that can significantly influence their perspective on business administration and project management.

We look forward to continuing this collaboration with Pärnu College in the future and hope that the students find the materials and insights gained during their visit to be beneficial as they progress in their studies and professional paths. It is always rewarding to see young minds inspired by the work we do, and we remain committed to sharing our knowledge and experience to support their growth.
