First conference in Romania

On October 2, 2023, Asociatia Se Poate proudly presented the NGOE project results (PR1, PR2, and PR3) at a high-profile conference hosted at the Politehnica University of Bucharest. The event brought together a diverse audience, including representatives from leading non-profit organizations, academic staff, and 104 enthusiastic young volunteers and student leaders, all united in their interest to promote entrepreneurship and innovation through the NGOE initiative.

Distinguished Attendees and Contributors

The conference featured prominent figures from various influential organizations, including:

•The National Union of Students in Romania, representing over 52 student organizations nationwide.

•The Students’ Association of the Faculty of Energetics.

•The Politehnica Students’ Association.

•The Association of Energy Engineers and Electricians.

Adding to the significance of the event, the Dean of the Faculty of Energetics, a staunch supporter of Erasmus+ collaborations, shared her insights on the value of such partnerships. Her address underscored the importance of integrating entrepreneurial education into academic programs and highlighted the opportunities created by the NGOE project for young people.

Key Achievements of the Event

The conference provided an excellent platform to:

1.Promote the NGOE Project Goals and Results

The detailed presentation of PR1 (Entrepreneurial Skills Framework), PR2 (Entrepreneurial Curricula), and PR3 (Skills Evaluation Model) emphasized the project's commitment to equipping youth with entrepreneurial competencies and practical tools.

2.Foster Connections Between Key Stakeholders

The event successfully facilitated connections among first-year students, student organizations, and non-profit representatives, fostering collaboration between the educational and non-profit sectors.

3.Engage Participants in Entrepreneurial Activities

Attendees actively engaged with the project's ideas and expressed interest in participating in upcoming activities, demonstrating a shared commitment to advancing entrepreneurship and fostering innovation within their communities.

Empowering Youth Through Collaboration

The conference served as a launchpad for further collaboration, inspiring students to take an active role in entrepreneurial education and strengthening the relationship between academia and non-profits. First-year students, in particular, were introduced to the NGOE initiative and encouraged to contribute to its activities, laying the foundation for future partnerships and a culture of entrepreneurship among youth.

This event not only showcased the NGOE project's achievements but also demonstrated its potential to drive meaningful change by bringing together motivated individuals and organizations to work toward a shared vision of empowered, entrepreneurial youth.
